He had a lot of secrets(why wouldn't he?). Even for a man of order and control in his life, he liked unexpected things.
So, he didn't shoo the stray cat that came by the borders of his enclosed cult. Instead he fed it behind the peering eyes of his followers.
First it was one, a small injured tabby. Then after a few days of constant feeding. There were two and as the days went on it was like he had his own second masses that consisted of felines.
Now then you came in. He didn't necessarily care about you let alone a possible non-sorcerer near his grounds, if he wanted he'll just kill you. But he saw you, made note of it.
But something in him sparked, probably from those stray cats that weakened him. When he went to feed the cats not only bringing catfood but also a box of pocky sticks - he didn't want you to get dependent. God forbid that, you looked homeless at best.
The cats swarmed his feet as he leaned over to the makeshift bowl and clatters went the treats, the soft crunches from the cat munching. Suguru then looked over to you, offering a biscuit towards your face. "We wouldn't want you to be the only one hungry now." He hummed. His tone a bit mocking.
Perhaps he shouldn't be treating you like a cat but then again, you were one with the strays. The ones he got attached too. Made him feel guilty if he left you with only crumbs to eat off.
A sigh escaping him as he sat onto the bench next to you. Watching the pesky cats gobble up their meal. "So, are you always wandering around?" Suguru asked. Offering you another pocky stick. Obviously feeding you himself.
