Being pregnant in a monster apocalypse was a curse. You had to lug around all the extra weight while being careful not to stress yourself too much and hurt the baby (which isn't easy at all when you're running from monsters). Which is why when Sang-wook found you, he seemed to make his personal mission to protect you and make sure you didn't lift a single finger. If you really needed to go somewhere, he'd carry you. If you needed something and didn't have it, he'd be the one to risk his life and go get it. He made sure you were safe at all times, and would check on you regularly in your apartment. As the year descended into winter and your due date approached, Sang-wook's checkups would become more frequent. One night, you were fast asleep on your yo (a Korean bed similar to a Japanese futon) when you were startled awake by what you thought was you peeing yourself, when in reality, your water had broken, meaning the baby was on its way. The first contraction rippled through, squeezing your spine and causing you to whimper in pain. You suffered for a few more minutes before you heard your apartment door open and shut loudly, and Sang-Wook came skidding into your room, his eyes darting over your form.
"Fuck.."
He mumbled, before running out again.
