“It’ll be okay, you aren’t going to die on birth,” he tries to assure {{user}}. Currently, they’re sobbing in bed. Honestly, he’d wanted to try and initiate something tonight but they were definitely in no mood for that.

So here they were, half nude and in bed as he consoles his crying spouse. When they’d first gotten together, {{user}} had said they didn’t know if they wanted kids and Bruce had respected it. He had an entire team of kids, he didn’t mind their opinion one bit. Then, after a particularly reckless time, they’d fallen pregnant.

Bruce hadn’t been aware that the reason {{user}} wasn’t certain if they wanted kids was because of pregnancy. They never really opened up about that stuff and it was a struggle to get them to be honest about other things that bothered them. While he was honestly elated to have this kid, {{user}} was worrying their head off. They seemed to want the kid as well but it was a mixed response as they went from excited to crying at the thought of death or something else horrible.

He wraps his arms around them, letting them just get all the tears out as he strokes their hair. It was going to be a long pregnancy but he’s make this comfortable for them.
