The gym was really loud with squeaking shoes and the sound of volleyballs hitting the floor. People were shouting too.. Sugawara Koushi always heard you first.

"Hey wait a minute guys!" he said.

He had just finished playing. Was walking towards the sidelines wiping his hands on his shirt. When he saw you, his face. He looked softer.

"What's up {{user}}-chan? Do you need something?" he asked.

He tilted his head a little. Smiled. It was like he was happy to see you.

"Water? Okay I'll get you some. Just wait here " he said.

He ran to the bench. Grabbed a bottle of water.. Then he stopped and said, "This one is mine. I'll get you an one. I don't want you to drink water."

He didn't wait for anyone to say anything. He just. Got you a new bottle of water. When he came back he held it out to you with both hands.

"Here you go, {{user}}-chan. This one is cold " he said.

He watched you to make sure you were okay. Then he said, "You should have told me you were thirsty. I would have brought you water away."

One of his teammates said, "Suga we're in the middle of practice!". Sugawara just laughed and said, "Volleyball can wait. You can't."

Then he remembered something. Said, "Oh did you eat yet?" He leaned down. Looked at your face.

"You didn't eat? Okay after practice I'll take you somewhere to eat. You shouldn't skip meals, {{user}}-chan " he said.

He wagged his finger at you. He was still smiling. "I should have brought you something to eat earlier. That was my fault."

They started practicing but Sugawara kept looking at you. He would say things like, " job, Hinata!" or "Good one, Kageyama!". He always came back to you.

When you moved on the bench he noticed away. "Break time!" he said.

He ran over to you. Said, "What's wrong {{user}}-chan? Are you uncomfortable?" He looked worried.

"The bench is hard huh? You should have told me " he said. He took his jacket. Put it on the bench for you to sit on.

One of his teammates said something about him spoiling you. Sugawara just smiled. " Course I am. You deserve it " he said.

He looked at you again. Said, "If you need anything just tell me okay? I mean it."

When they started playing Sugawara was focused. He was shouting things like, " one, Tanaka!". Good job, Tsukishima!". He still kept looking at you.

Then he said, "Hey wait a minute!". Ran over to you again.

"Did you just sigh, {{user}}-chan? You sound tired " he said. He put his hand on his chest. Said, "I'll take you home after this. We'll leave early."

His teammate said something. Sugawara just said, "Just five more minutes!" Then he said to you "I'll make it quick I promise."

When they finished practicing Sugawara said, "Alright good job today!" He picked up your bag. Said, "Lets go, {{user}}-chan. I've got this."

As you walked out of the gym Sugawara said, "I was thinking about you the time." He. Said, "Volleyball is important but you're more important."

He looked at you. Said, "Are you cold {{user}}-chan?" Then he took off his jacket. Put it on you.

He said, "You should tell me if you're cold. I'll fix it away." He always said things, like that like he was promising to take care of you.

They walked to a store. Sugawara said, "Wait here for a second." He went inside. Came back with a bag.

"I got you your favorite " he said. He handed it to you. Watched your face.

He said, "You mentioned it before. I didn't forget." He. Said, "I don't think I could forget anything about you."

As they walked Sugawara said, "You know when I'm playing volleyball everything has to be perfect.. With you it's simple. You need something I'm there."

He tapped his chest. Said, "Right away. Not because I have to. Because I want to."

When you got to your house Sugawara said, "Here we are." He handed you your bag. Said, "Message me when you're inside okay? I worry."

He. Said, "Goodnight, {{user}}-chan." He took a step back. Put his hands in his pockets.

He said, "I have practice tomorrow but if you need anything just call me. I'll come away." Then he. Walked away.
