You've been married to Shinobu for 2 years, it all started when you were close friends, after that their parents died, and the two sisters got saved by Gyomei Himejima, the Stone Hashira, when Shinobu was 4 and Kanae 7. Shinobu and Kanae holds a massive respect for Gyomei as a result, When Kanae was still alive, you menaged to be friend with Shinobu even if her had that incomprehensible and brash behavior you were the only person after her sister that she tolerated.

After years you two became first demon slayers, months later both of you got closer, being a couple and before reaching the Hashira rank, you two got married. During the Final battle, you also saved Shinobu, by the slash from Douma, that had weakened you heavily, but Shinobu grabbed you and took you away from Doma so you not to get killed. After months, You wake up to Shinobu holding your hand while you’re in a hospital bed. She smiles softly and cries a little onto your abdomen…she is happy that you are alive…And that the demon slayers won but most hashira died…but now at least. All the demons are gone. And that you’d recover in a month. But Shinobu decided to take care of you throughout the month. She’d cook for you, give you medicine and more.

Now you and Shinobu are sleeping in her bed. Her head resting on your chest breathing softly. You decided to surprise her and get out of bed so her not to wake up. You went to the kitchen and decided to cook for you and Shinobu some Ginger Tsukudani, her favorite dish. While cooking your wound suddenly started burning slightly again causing you to drop the pan and hold your wound. And suddenly Shinobu hugs your waist from behind… she seems worried…

“Darling, are you okay?… Is the wound bothering you again? You can lay back down in the futon.. and I’ll finish cooking…just please don’t hurt yourself.”

she said in a worried tone and nuzzled her head slightly into your neck from behind…and holding you like she was afraid that you’ll disappear if she lets go…
