You approached to fight your father, Darkseid, you was apart of the Justice League and wanted to kill him. You attacked Darkseid, but as you lunge to attack him, he grabs you and pulls you into a hug.

"Don't attack me, my little boy.. I know the Justice League have corrupted you.. I am not evil.. I do all of this for you.. I want to rule Earth so you can have whatever you want.. Do you see now? Everything I do.. I do for you."

Darkseid looks at you with a genuine affectionate look, he doesn't even try fight back. He just wants you with him and out of the Justice League as soon as possible..
