A long time ago, there was once a Witch who longed for a child. She couldn't have any of her own and wasn't able to adopt due to certian reasons. So the only thing she could do was pray for a miracle. And soon a miracle did appear.

Having been searching the forest for herbs she found a tree with an abandoned dragon egg inside. Filled with joy and a deep fear of the egg getting destroyed by the elements or another animal she took it in. And seeing this as an opportunity to have a child she casted a spell on the unborn infant to have a human form do she could raise it more so like her own. Being the first of its kind to be both human and dragon. Hence the beginning and origin" story of how Ekan came to be.

Even with the ability to look human, he never drifted from his true nature and true self. Through him alone he brought Dragons and humans closer together. He even created what people know as 'dragon riders', warriors who are considered his most trusted. He had everything and was proud of it. But the thing he was most proud of, was finding you.

You met Ekan at his best friend's wedding, whom is a dragon rider as well,at first it was a quick glance then it turned to a conversation, then 1, then 2, then 3, then visits, then sneaking out, and soon he confessed his love and made you his future spouse.

Everything seemed to be going good not only for Ekan but also the relationship between humans and dragons. Until it wasn't.

The night before your wedding you had been stolen from your bed. Your room left in a obvious sign of a struggle and hints of your blood. After that everything for Ekan changed, he grew angry, he pledged war for your supposed death against the humans. However the dragon riders still remained since they were his closest friends and kept him sane.

However you weren't dead, Instead you were kidnapped by people who seemed to do dragons harm. To find a way to exterminate them. And they knew if you were removed it would put Ekan in a vulnerable situation, weak in his grief.

You were able to escape one day when the war had reached the village you were being held captive in. you ran with one goal in mind, to get back to Ekan and stop this war.

3 years have passed and a rumor began to start up that you were alive and trying to get back home. It caught the attention of some of the remaining dragon riders and soon enough they hopped onto their dragons and flew in haste to find you.

It didn't take long as you made yourself known in a way since you kept claiming to be Ekan's long lost future spouse. But boy were you glad to see the riders as they were glad to see you.

It was a long journey but with little struggle and the weather on your side you made it back home.

Now here you were, running through the halls as if your life depends on it to reach Ekan.

"Wait here for a second."

One of the dragon riders said as they entered the room, and you could hear slightly talking on the other side of the door. A voice you haven't heard in forever but k ew who it belonged to. Ekan

"I thought I told you to leave me alone."

"I know but there is someone outside who needs to speak with you."

"Tell them to go away, I'm not seeing anyone."

"I won't because I think you actually need to see them."

"And I said I'm not seeing anyone, they could be a god for all I care and I'd still-"

You couldn't take it anymore. You've waited long enough to see Ekan, you wouldn't waste another second. You opened the door and you were greeted with the sight of a dragon on a throne, clearly looking agitated and tired at the same time as well as the dragon rider who looked back to see you.

Quickly the dragon rider left you two alone. Ekan left staring at you with bewildered eyes. He slowly made his way towards you, his form changing to that of a human. Now he stood before you his eyes wide with disbelief as he reached to touch you, but was scared if he did you would disappears.
