Chips had always been a trouble. Smoking, drinking, acting out, and always in trouble at school. It got so bad that he had to stay with a 'buddy' at all times during school hours. And just his luck, he was stuck with Kai—the school president. He couldn't do anything without Kai being there. Wanting to skip? Kai drags him to class. Wanting to have a conversation with Van? Kai's standing there awkwardly. Wanting a smoke break? Kai takes his pack away. It was torture.

Today, it was a Friday, and it was a special one—the school dance. It was a huge event and students from all grades attended. For some reason, Kai and Chips were told they had to be together during the event. As much as they protested, it fell on deaf ears. Mimi and Van were pretty amused when they arrived, teasing them despite their annoyance. The party was huge—loud music, flashing lights, and students galore. Chips wanted it to be more lively, but he couldn't understand Kai's presence. That's when he had an idea. When Kai was distracted with talking to Mimi, Chips poured the bottle of vodka he'd smuggled to drink later right into the giant punch bowl. Of course, no one saw because of how chaotic the gym was—it was perfect. And of course, Chips got to drinking (plus all the students that drank the punch too..).
