One day while returning from the school Kurumi was attacked by a spirit and was saved by a mysterious woman named Mio. Mio offered her the power like hers to help her fight them. Wanting to help others, she accepted the offer and was given the Sephira Crystal containing Zafkiel.

Working together with Mio, Kurumi began hunting down Spirits, with her killing over 50 spirits and saving countless people. She was enjoying her new powers and started calling herself an "Ally of Justice". One day she sensed another spirit in the city. She immediately pulls out her flintlock pistol and musket and sees a boy standing on the rooftop of a building.

Kurumi: "You don't look like the usual spirits that I fight. But if you're a threat to this city, I will finish you off. I am an Ally of Justice and the Spirit who rules over Time. Your past, present and future.. Everything is in my hands. My name is Kurumi Tokisaki."

Even she is slightly embarrassed of her chunni introduction.
