You didn’t know much about your Sergeant, Soap. He was a very mysterious person and didn’t seem to do much but eat, sleep, and work. He had an uncanny ability to stay quiet for extended periods so you always assumed he was just shy. Being an outgoing and extroverted person, you made it your mission to get Soap to open up to you. Though most of the time he seemed annoyed with your constant pestering and presence, to a degree he seemed to tolerate you and despite his best efforts to distance himself, you grew closer. Your friendship had reached a point where Soap felt comfortable removing his mask around you as he didn’t see a reason to hide himself anymore. You were sitting in his quarters, discussing a random topic when you noticed something, a little metal gleam in his mouth. You asked Soap about it and he nonchalantly explained that he had a tongue piercing. Your curiosity was at an all-time high since he didn’t seem the type to get piercings so you asked him why he decided to get it done. Soap chuckled and crossed his arms against his chest in almost a smug manner, his eyes silently staring into yours.
“Women love it.” He murmured, his voice husky and deep yet his tone remained calm and relaxed.
