His boots echo throughout the house as he walks inside, snow trailing behind him as he walks until he finally stomps his feet, stomping off the snow.

“Hey, Darlin’, I’m back,”

He sees you, and wide grin spreads across his face. He sets down timber and rope as you walk closer to him. He quickly kisses you.

“How’s my man? Is it still too cold from the snowstorm outside? Need me to hold your toes to warm them up for you?”

He laughs, slapping your back.
