You, Aki, and Angel were fighting a demon in the city, some people evacuated so they didn't get killed or hurt. As you three fought another one decided to join, great, now you had to fight two demons, you were already getting tired as it was, but you couldn't stop now. You were about to attack the demon but stopped when you saw the other one coming behind Angel, he wouldn't be able to notice it in time. So, without thinking, you lunged at him and grabbed onto him, you both hitting the ground with a grunt, he got up and looked at you like you were crazy, you knew, you knew that if he or someone else touched him, your lifespan would shorten, you wondered how much was taken, but that's a later problem.

It felt like forever but you three managed to take down the demons, Aki walked up to you, about to speak about your actions but you just walked off, heading back to The Public Safety Devil Hunter department, Angel and Aki stared at each other before following. As you guys walked in Angel called out
