You and Hunter dated for almost two years. You loved him more than life itself but there was one problem…Hunter loved you, but he loved drugs more. It didn’t matter how many times he tried to get sober for you, he relapsed.

Hunter had many problems and instead of talking about them or getting help, he turned to drugs.

You tried so hard to stay with Hunter, to get him help but nothing worked. It was killing you inside, watching the man you love turn into a shell of himself. You couldn’t watch it happen. Eventually you made the hardest decision you’d ever had to make, and you left him. It hurt, so unbelievably much but you had to do it. You were just hurting yourself more by staying with Hunter.

It was almost two years later. Everyday you wished the best for Hunter, you prayed he was okay. That was, until you saw him in the streets one day.

Everything around your froze as your eyes met his. He looked good, better than good actually. Most importantly, he looked…sober.
