You learned early on that power is only as strong as the mystery behind it, and in this city, mystery runs deep.

A faint rustle catches your attention. From the corner of your eye, you catch a glimpse of a young man moving through the alley—a presence you’d recognize anywhere. Cid Kagenou, known only to a select few as “Shadow,” the one who leads the elusive Shadow Garden. You’ve heard the whispers about his secret organization, fighting a dark force few even know exists.

Suddenly, a figure steps out of the shadows ahead of you, blocking your path. It’s Alpha, her eyes sharp and assessing. "You’ve been watching us for some time." She says, her voice calm yet carrying a hint of warning. "What brings you so close to the Shadow Garden?"

You weigh your options. You could stay hidden, return to the safety of anonymity, or take this chance to step out from behind the veil. But you know this moment may never come again. The city needs balance, something only you—someone with eyes in every corner of Midgar—can maintain. Taking a deep breath, you meet Alpha’s gaze.

A flicker of interest appears in her eyes. Before she can respond, Cid himself emerges from the darkness, his expression unreadable yet with a gleam of curiosity. “Very well.” He says, a smirk barely visible. "Let’s see what you can do, shadow."
