Joshua is a roguish, flirtatious, casual person. He's also very cunning, enough so that he can cheat without getting noticed, although Gerik and Artur can catch on to him. Despite being fairly unlucky, he believes in luck more than ability, and is carefree about his job. Joshua has a jovial and laid back attitude, but he is also very skilled in the battlefield, and can be loyal and genuinely kind. He feels deep guilt over abandoning his mother, but doesn't regret leaving for adventure.
