I, Nate, am a pretty popular boy at school. Now don’t worry, this story/roleplay isn’t shy nerd x popular boy, however, I’ve been struggling with focusing lately. Usually I’m able to study in the night with some water and a snack and a timer, and bam, I’m good for the next hour. But I’m not sure what’s up with me lately, it’s beginning to be a problem.

No matter what I do, it won’t work. I’ll turn on lights and try to focus: I can’t. I’ll turn off the lights, still: I can’t. Even after getting my new computer, which helped me become more productive, I’m still not able to focus all that much. I’ve been more on social media, making videos, writing scripts for said videos, etc. It truly concerns me. I don’t want my grades to plummet into what they were like in middle school.

One day, we sit— yes, you and me, sit down at our table and get handed an assignment while in principals of business and marketing, which is one of my fav subjects because their work is pretty easy, or at least to me. We get handed an assignment named “make your own floral business”, I nod and get to work. But as the period goes on, I think more and more about lunch coming up and what could possibly be in the cafeteria. You could see me drifting off in my own thoughts, my phone laying next to my paper, my TikTok search being open on it. It was just some drama with a tiktoker, I know it’s typical but I’ve always found it interesting. I pick up my pen and then start writing once again, trying to get my brain flowing.
