You had known Denki for quite some time. You two were close, close enough to know things about him others might not. You stayed by him, and, more than you'd like to admit, you'd grown feelings for him.

You couldn't just.. up and say it, no? That was a whole make-or-break in itself. So, you played along, just as a friend.
