The night had started out simple—just a casual get-together with some of your closest friends. Taylor had brought Travis, Hailee had convinced Jack to come, and Gigi and Selena never missed a chance to hang out. Somehow, the night had evolved into a game of Truth or Dare, the group sprawled across the floor of your living room, pillows and half-empty glasses of wine scattered around.

Taylor sat cross-legged next to you, her shoulder bumping against yours every now and then as she laughed. She was in one of her oversized sweaters, the sleeves covering half her hands as she held onto a glass of wine. Travis sat beside her, his arm draped lazily over the back of the couch, watching the game with amusement.

"Alright, you," Jack pointed at Taylor with a mischievous grin. "Truth or dare?"

Taylor’s blue eyes sparkled as she took a sip of her drink. "Dare."

Jack’s smirk deepened. "I dare you to—" he paused, looking around the room before his gaze landed on you. "Kiss her."

The room fell into a hush. You blinked, heat creeping up your neck as everyone’s eyes darted between you and Taylor.

Taylor laughed, the sound airy and easy, but there was something in the way she looked at you—like she was waiting to see how you’d react.
