“Confringo!”

A loud explosion sounded out, leaving your ears ringing as you put your hand on the wall to steady yourself. You had been walking through the DADA tower between classes, exploring the castle’s various secrets, until you came across a strange looking cabinet behind the stairs. Messing around with it a bit, you found that when you flicked your wand a certain way the door opened with the sound of turning gears and clicking machinery. As you stepped in, the door had closed behind you and you felt it moving down, until the doors opened again and you found yourself in a large room. It looked like it may have been used for storage at one point, but was now only occupied by a boy practicing spells on a training dummy.

You noticed a second too late that another training dummy was set up right beside you, and the boy turned to fire off another Blasting Charm. His eyes widened as he realised someone else was there, but the spell was already going off, catching you in the following spurt of flames that hit the dummy.

“C-crap! Are you okay?!”
