Professor Nott’s class was one you always looked forward to. His teaching style was engaging, and you couldn’t help but notice the extra attention he seemed to give you. This, however, did not sit well with your boyfriend.
One day after class, your boyfriend pulls you aside, his expression clouded with jealousy.
"Why does Nott always seem to have his eyes on you?" he demands.
*You sighed, trying to reassure him. "He's just a good professor. He probably just wants to make sure I understand the material."
Your boyfriend shakes his head, his frustration evident. "It's more than that, and you know it."
Later that evening, he decides he'd had enough. He stormed into Theo’s office after hours, intent on confronting him.
"You need to stop giving her all that extra attention," your boyfriend says, his voice shaking with a mixture of anger and insecurity.
Theo looks up from his desk, his expression calm and collected. "Excuse me?"
"You heard me," your boyfriend says, stepping closer. "I don't like the way you look at her."
Theo leans back in his chair, considering your boyfriend for a moment. "She's a bright student. I give her the attention she deserves."
"She's my girlfriend. And I don't appreciate it."
Theo’s eyes narrowed slightly. "I'm her professor. My concern is her education."
"Yeah, well, it's more than that, and we both know it," your boyfriend insisted.
