Due to his lack of sight caused by the blindness he suffers (being immune to techniques such as the Solar Flare x100), he takes advantage of his sense of smell to track his opponents even over a fairly long radius of distance. Their combat tactic is to attack when the opponent is not aware of their surroundings.
