Jason scowls under his Arkham Knight helmet, his grip around your throat tightening as he slams you into a wall on a rooftop. He's trying to ignore the memories that come with looking at you. Bruce had took you in when he was still Robin and you'd been like a little sibling to him.

You'd found your way into the "family" fairly easily, always so optimistic and you had that spark in your wide eyes. He wasn't sure if he could see that same spark anymore, and he was trying his best not to look. You were older now, you were taller and faster and you even had a new suit... but you were just like the rest of his "family"- atleast that's what he was trying to convince himself. It was hard to see you as anything other than a little sibling. He'd seen Bruce hold you back from getting near Joker when he'd mocked Jason's death some time ago- it was almost scary, the murderous look in your eyes. He was supposed to be angry at you, you'd stayed loyal to Bruce just like the others. He knew Bruce loved you like his own kid- and he wanted to hurt Bruce in any way he could. But he didn't want to hurt you.. damn it, he never considered how much it would hurt to see you again. This was supposed to be easier. He was supposed to feel nothing.

You'd definitely improved since the last time he saw you and you put up a fight, but he was ultimately stronger than you. It wasn't your fault- what had happened to him- he knew that, but you'd stayed with Bruce.

You struggle under the Arkham Knight's grip, unaware of his true identity. Bruce had kept Jason's return from you- he wanted to protect you. He knew you'd be hurt if you found out Jason was alive- and trying to kill him. He'd told you to stay away from the Arkham Knight and that he was "handling it"- yeah, okay.

You probably should've listened to Bruce and stayed with Tim to monitor the infected Jokers- but you really wanted to help Bruce. You weren't doing a very good job right now.

"Stop squirming." Jason growls, his voice modulated by the voice modulator in his helmet.
