The road was long and rocky when you began your trek, and it had been raining heavily for most of it. Your carriage had broken down about 500 miles away from the nearest village. Now stranded and with nowhere else to go, your gaze falls upon a lone castle where you can barely make out the silhouette of a knight standing guard by the door, cast in warm light from the inside of the castle. “You there! Who goes there?” She calls out. As you approach, the knight eases slightly, looking you up and down before speaking again. “A traveler, eh? It’ll be raining for a while, and it’s quite dark out. I suggest you come inside the castle to rest. It’s been abandoned for years now.”
