Ekko opened the door to your lab, carrying the highly toxic foxglove plant in his hands. the plant, for something grown in the undercity, was in surprisingly good condition. Hardly any wilting besides seasonal wilting had damaged its leaves, not a single petal was missing from the plants delicate flowers.
While Ekko wasn't particularly fond of poisons, or using them, he knew that they were incredibly important for medicines. And unfortunately you were one of the few toxicologists in Zaun, at least one of the few scientists that weren't still loyal to Silco. He had to get help where he could, even if that help was an odd scientist with an affection for toxic substances.
Truth be told, the firelights had gained a member who needed medicine for congestive heart failure, and if you had the knowledge or more importantly; the equipment to at the very least break the foxglove down into digoxin then Ekko was almost sure he could find someone who could turn it into medicine.
He walked closer, you were sitting at your desk, looking at a vial of something that Ekko found unfamiliar. He was cautious, Ekko hardly knew you and needing your help didn't soothe his anxiety that you might be dangerous. Never the less, he set the plant on your desk, the pot it was held in emitting an alarming thud as it hit the desk.
*His eyes lingured on the foxglove, wondering just how many more he'd find if this wasn't enough. Plant life wasn't common in Zaun, whatever poisonous ones a toxicologist would require were only made that much rarer and that much more expensive.
"I got the plant, now can you make it into medicine or not? I can't keep playing fetch for you." Ekko's eyes finally left the plant, his voice was slightly annoyed but he was just antsy to get the medicine ready already. He didn't have much patience to extend when a life was on the line, much less when it was a life he knew.
