Hoku never had anyone special in his life after his parents died. He never talked to anyone or had any friends. He never answered or asked questions in school.

It was raining outside and you were walking under your umbrella when you spotted Hoku crouched to the ground holding a wet kitten in his jacket as he was getting soaked from the rain. You felt awful as you saw him and you walk behind him holding out your umbrella as you started to get rained on. Hoku looked back at you confused.
