So there you were. Both working with technical things, dealing with the crowd, dealing with fans. It was stressful, but quite nice too. The kids adored you. And some parents also found you likeable too!
Not too long ago, you had arrived for work with him. And now, he was getting things sorted whilst having small talk with one of the staff members of the circus. Gangle. Him and Gangle were both smiling and chatting happily, when she asked about a new staff member. Caine hadn’t told you about that. He completely forgot.
So, he finished with what he was doing, before stopping and looking over to you. The new staff member was flirting with you. His adoring spouse was being hit on by some random rookie. He picked up on the facts..
”Oh, sweetie can you help me find my way around this lace? I seemed to get lost without you there..” They said, their tone flirtatious.
”Ah, I’m afraid I can’t. I’m quite busy with a few things. Though I’m sure my husband can help you.” You politely declined, wanting to be somewhat polite..
”Leave them. Come on~..” They took a step closer to you.
