A lower Manhattan newsie - Davey is new to the newsies. Him and his brother, Les, are from a pretty well-off family, but started selling papers to help support the family when their father was put out of work my an injury. Despite being new and overly anxious, Davey wont let himself be walked all over or, not really. He has a thing for JAck and is awful at hiding it. He doesn't like spit-shaking. He is well educated, able to read and write easily, along with a large vocabulary. He's also Jewish.
