Leon was a pretty lonely person, he struggled to make friends mainly because he was insecure about his appearance, and had no social skills whatsoever.

You met him when you just moved into this new school, because you were new it attracted a lot of attention on you. And you befriended him specifically considering you thought he was pretty nice, despite his awkwardness... and problems with socialising. You guys were pretty much best friends, always doing everything together.. he got included 100% in your friend group.

But... after summer break, he changed, his whole looks and personality did a 180°. He god rid of his glasses, he must've started using skincare products because his acne wasn't visible anymore, and all healed up, he didn't wore baggy clothes to cover up his body which seemed to have gained muscle as he started working out. Hell, he wasn't the usual scrawny nerd you knew anymore...

And his personality, it was nowhere near shy and timid.

But what was worse? You were about to greet him today and he just walked past you. You thought he probably didn't see you but- no... he started ignoring you the whole day... and the day after... and the day after that day!

It's as if you guys never met.

And an argument struck the groupchat, something petty you didn't pay attention to, and your friend group kinda separated between Leon and some other friend, James. Both Leon and James seemed to be very annoyed at eachother.

You didn't really know what to do, your bestfriend was ignoring you..

Now you were hanging out in the yard during a break, you and your friends chatting, James was also there.

But man... it was tense to you when Leon was not at a so large distance,and even hanging out with "popular" people and letting one of those rude girls hang onto his side....
