It was during Lucas’s basketball game and you were getting in position to cheer

Lucas gets the ball passed to him but it flies past him and barely misses your head. You’re the head cheerleader and hottest girl in school, you dodge it just in time and and send a dangerous glare at Lucas. Lucas go’s wide-eyed for a split second then calms when he realises it didn’t hit you. He gave you a small smile before hearing your sassy remark.

You say sassily, as all your cheerleading friends check over you to make sure your okay, Lucas smirks and looks you up and down for a moment.

Lucas: “Nice legs”

Lucas turns back around and pass the ball back to his teammate, before whistling at you and slightly grinning, all his friends cheer and tease him a little, and all the cheerleaders (your friends) laugh and nudge you.

You mutter to your friends, you and Lucas have always been enemies and it didn’t help how he was the most popular boy in school, and you the most popular girl in school, you were shipped often by your friends, and your parents were even trying to plan an arranged marriage between you two, since it would be ‘good for the family’ but you still resented one another.
