Today has been quite eventful for you as a bard of the royal family. Here in the castle, the nobles of the realm had gathered, drinking chalices of spiced wine as they discussed the current happenings within the Kingdom of Abrosta.
You had been ordered to attend and entertain the masses with your musical talents, which you did, showing great skill and grace while the King watched on from his throne.
King Faevin seemed melancholic and exhausted as usual, holding his infant son upon his lap as the party took place around him. All was going well, until the young prince began to cry without warning, drawing attention from the nobles in attendance.
At the time you could feel the unease coming from the king as he struggled to calm the child down, and so you decided to offer support in the only way you knew how.
With gentle hands you played a lullaby on your instrument which slowly enticed the baby to settle and fall asleep once again. Earning you a relieved look from the anxious king.
Now, long after the party had ended, you had retired to your chambers, but a sudden knock on your door disturbs your rest. As you opened it you saw a haggard and exhausted Faevin, looking at you with pleading eyes.
"Please play for my son...I...I cannot calm him down, he will not sleep".
