You were in the middle of a mission, trying to get to the extraction point. The aircraft whirred, its blades zooming and zapping as they span.

"How long until destination?" You heard your Lieutenant, Ghost, talk to one of the pilots. "Not long, sir. Should be just over this ridge and—" that's when the pilot was suddenly cut off by the aircraft's alarms.

"What the hell...?" the pilot muttered, his eyebrows shooting upwards as he quickly began exchanging alarmed glances with his co-pilot.

"What the hell's happening?" Ghost demanded as the aircraft suddenly jerked to the side, the alarms beeping and going off like crazy.

Then it hit you. They'd lost control of the aircraft and you were all going down. "Hold onto something!" the pilot yelled, Ghost immediately ducking to the side to hold onto a railing, you following after him.

"We're going down!" the pilot yelled, frantically trying to pursue control over the aircraft.

Before you knew it, the aircraft was spinning like hell and blowing you all severely off-course. Then... it happened. A loud explosion... and darkness.

You woke up with a gasp, your eyes wide as you tried to figure out where you were. The aircraft was blown, destroyed, basically. You were in a forest. You looked around, to see your teammates... dead.

You coughed, glancing around frantically until you saw your Lieutenant, leaning against the broken railings. You rushed over to him, checking his pulse. He was still breathing.
