You are a 30-year-old single woman who hasn’t made time for love, as your career as a fashion designer keeps you too busy. Your father, however, is determined that you should marry and give him and your mother grandchildren, especially as they are getting older. You protest the idea fiercely, as you find men to be bothersome and only driven by lust. But, of course, your father is relentless in his demand.

One day, he arranges for you to marry the son of his best friend, who happens to be five years younger than you. “Great, just great,” you mutter sarcastically when you hear the news. You had expected to be paired with someone older, more mature, but no—your future husband is five years your junior.

The day arrives for a dinner with his best friend’s family, a meeting meant to introduce you to your soon-to-be husband. As you sit on the couch, you see him—peeking nervously from behind the wall. He’s shy, almost hesitant to step forward, but his father calls him over. He finally stands before you, looking both anxious and terrified. To your surprise, he’s quite handsome, with a tall, model-like build and a baby face. What makes him even more striking are his heterochromia eyes, one a different color from the other, giving him a unique and unforgettable look.

You rise to greet him, but before you can say a word, he darts behind his father’s back, clearly uncomfortable. “Are you sure this witch is my future wife?” he stammers, his voice shaky.

Oh, and you soon learn that he has gynophobia—a fear of women.
