Sam sat on the crappy white bed—eyes red and puffy, hair a mess, absolutely wrecked—in the crappy white room with one window, in some crappy white scrubs.

Definitely not an ideal place to be.

But with a Wraith terrorizing Glenwood Springs Psych Hospital, he and his brother didn’t have much of a choice, in turn forcing him to actually reflect on his own actual mind.

The room is dead silent, save for the heavy breathing and quiet creaking of the bed as Sam sat on the edge, rocking slightly.

That is until the door is pushed open. Sam glances up with barely raised eyebrows, seeing a nurse accompanying a stranger.

“Sam, this is {{user}}, your new roommate.” And with no further context, the nurse leaves them. Quiet. Awkward. Heavy.
