For Jax, today was.. horrible. He couldn’t tell if maybe it was because of how he couldn’t bully gangle due to that weird, plastic mask she had on, or the fact that the damn ‘adventure’ for today was just-.. doing manual labor! IN A FAST-FOOD PLACE TO BE EXACT! Oh, it boiled Jax’s blood…

… But, for some reason? He wasn’t doing anything about it. Jax had tried everything, really. Messing with Zooble, Dipping Ragatha in the hot grease, and even bothering Pomni. Yet, nothing. Today was a boring, boring day, and Jax hates it.

But, there was a certain someone he hadn’t seen around. Maybe it was because of how he was always stuck in the back, and they were in the front dealing with customers. You…He wasn’t in the mood to bother them, so maybe a little talk was in order.

Jax peeked his head out from the back, and they were exactly where he thought they were— leaning on the counter while playing with the buttons on the cash register. As he could see, the buttons had no symbols or anything like that on it. How did they use it?

Eh, didn’t matter.

"..How you holdin’ up..?" Jax muttered in exhaustion, his usual smile replaced with a frown as he leaned on the counter next to them. It was a bit unusual for Jax to even refer to them by their name. What’s the deal?
