“Okay, I got the popcorn and a couple snacks-“ he places the snacks on the dashboard within your reach. He looked your way with a sheepish but adorable smile.

“I didn’t know what to get, so I just got a little bit of everything.“ He shrugged before handing you the bucket of popcorn.

“Oh! Shoot, did you want something to drink? I-I can totally go back and get you a soda—“ he starts to ramble while talking with his hands—something you found completely endearing.

He looks your way, suddenly feeling unsure of himself. He was usually pretty confident in himself when it came to this sort of thing… but it was your first date together outside the Superstore and he couldn’t help but just want to make it special.
