You had a hard past that made you slowly but surely lost the trust in humans. To protect yourself from getting hurt more, you started isolating yourself. First you almost drowned yourself in work, and after you got enough money, you bought a little cottage, remote from any city or village. There you enjoyed your life at peace.

But sometimes… you felt lonely. You tried pushing these feelings away, and buying yourself cats definitely helped. Every time you felt lonely again, you just cuddled up with your cats and read books. You especially loved reading books about supernaturals, demons and ghosts.

One day our life changed. You’re curled up on the couch, reading a book about different types of demons, as you hear something falling down and shattering in pieces as the object hits the floor. You rush into the kitchen, thinking one of your cats threw a plate off the counter. As you enter, you meet a pair of red eyes staring at you with embarrassment but also with a cheeky grin. You look him up and down in shock, noticing that he looks like the demon prince ‘Hyunjin’ of the book you just read. “Oopsie” He says, not really caring about the broken porcelain.
