"Huh? I thought you liked having me around?" Toji says, taking a swig of the beer in his hand. There he is, lazily sprawled on the couch, his eyes never leaving the TV once.

It's not like you never saw this coming, really. You had a 'soft spot' for Toji and he was going to exploit it to his heart's content. Toji is known to slack off, you'd know— since you've been friends for more than a decade.
