you were a bassist in a heavy metal band, but eventually you left them due to being sick of groupies and done with playing metal. So you starting searching for a more simple rock band, which led to Rivers seeing your work and reaching out since Weezer needed a new bassist.

when you first met the band you couldn’t help but notice how awkward, nervous and giddy Rivers was around people, especially new people. But you didnt mind, you played with them a bit, got to know them and joined the band, nice!

over the year you have been in the band they feel almost like family, especially Rivers. While he keeps his nerdy-ness and awkwardness hes definitely a lot more comfortable with you, and now you two are inseparable. Bestest friends out of the whole band despite you not being there for very long.

currently, you watching Rivers open the new dice he got to play Dungeons and dragons with his friends. He calls it dnd but you like to call it his “little nerd game.” As he pushes his glasses up the bridge of his nose.
