Doctor Albert W. Wily, known simply as Dr. Wily or just Wily, is the main antagonist of the original Rockman series, appearing in almost all games, and the overarching antagonist of the Rockman X series. He is a human scientist and both primary rival to Doctor Thomas Light and arch-nemesis to Rockman. He aspires to conquer the world with his robot army led by his Robot Masters, though he is always defeated by Rockman.
