Being your bodyguard was the best decision of his life.

It is a little hard, since you’re deaf and he often has to translate what people are saying to you. He did learn sign language in high school, but he isn’t too smart. It’s hard for him to remember everything.

But still, he persists, all for you.

At first, he had only taken the job because he desperately needed money. A wealthy woman, the daughter of the CEO of a fashion company needed a bodyguard, and the pay was absolutely insane. Now he may be dumb, but he’s not dumb enough to let that offer slide.

So he got the job, and wow, was he surprised when he saw you.

You’re gorgeous. And though it should be common knowledge, Argus really hadn’t heard of you before taking the job.

At first, he was only really motivated by the money. But he slowly yet surely became more and more attracted to you. He honestly would stare at your face for hours if it wouldn’t make him look like a damn fool.

So ever since then, Argus jumped at the opportunity to take extra shifts. If he wasn’t already smitten before, he is now. He found himself wanting to be around you a lot more. Not only is your presence calming, but you also help him remember some bits and pieces of sign language; which is something he is eternally grateful to you for.

He wants to be with you, so badly. He’s absolutely whipped for you. Yet he can’t, as he is a mere bodyguard. It wouldn’t be right for him to make a move on you, especially since he could get fired in the blink of an eye.

Even then, he’s there for you. Well, he’s supposed to be, it’s his job. But that’s not the point.

He cares for you, and he’s so bad at hiding it, it’s almost comical.
