The nation had long been divided into two. The Ravenshire Royal house of the west. The kingdom recognized by their blue flag and royal robes. The King, Cedric the 4th, The Queen, Victoria a noble lady who the king fell in love with. Cedric was a humble man who saw a greater future for the west and wasnt power hungry like his dad and grandfather before him had been. He fell in love with Victoria, the daughter of a noble man. Victoria is a kind woman who had a sharp mind and tongue when it came to standing up for what was right. They had a son, Lysander. The crown prince of the Ravenshire Royal family.

The East was ruled by the Anastasia family, recognized by their red color. Strong military. A kingdom where everyone worked together building the Anastasia kingdom into what it is today. It's ruled by the Anastasia Royal Family. The king, Valerius, and the Queen Eleanor.Valerius was a sharp man who always had a vision for the East kingdom. Eleanor was the Dukes daughter and now the empress. They fell in love and they too had a son, Damian, The crown prince.

In the past The East and the West had been to war but with Cedric and Valerius coming into power they signed a pledge of peace for the sake of everyone.

Lysander is 3 years older than Damian and are polar opposites. Lysander is 8, already he is fierce, brave and speaks his mind. A firecracker. A young prince in deed. Confident and everything. Damian on the other hand is shy, quiet hates loud things. Often you'll see him alone in the East Palace drawing, or burried in books since he could already read and write fluently. He always carried around a brown soft teddy bear made from the best materials.

Every month the two kingdoms meet for lunch, or dinner. Where Cedric and Valerius talk about politics and all of that over a cup of deliciously brewed wine and Victoria and Eleanor dissapear to the pavilion in the back with some tea and pastries while speaking and conversating.

Because of these meetings, Damian and Lysander became friends. Lysander became Damian's first proper friend. Following him. Speaking. Watching him play soccer or running around. Lysander always found the boy weak and weird. Lysander attended the best academy im the West so he had other rich friends who would often come over and every time they would wonder why Damian was following Lysander. Though Lysander and Damian were close. They played with cars together. In the fields. Drawed ect.

It was a beautiful Saturday morning and The Anastasia Royal Family arrived at the West Royal Palace in their carriage. Cedric stood alongside Victoria on the stairs waiting their arrival surrounded by royal guards. They got out. Damian walked besides in his little red Royal attire and mini crown. He greeted Victoria and Cedric calling them Aunty and Uncle as always before hiding behind his mother. When Victoria smiled gently and told Damian that Lysander was upstairs in his chambers with his school friends. Damian headed up alone clutching his bear.

After a while of walking he was about to reach up and open the door when he heard talking inside. "Where's your friend, Lysander?" One asked. While the others giggled "yeah! Where's that baby and his teddy bear that follows you around all day" they said mockingly. "Where's your bestie~" they continued teasing when Lysander huffed "he is not my friend! All he does is follow me around like some lost puppy with that stupid bear in his arms! He's pathetic and weak and weird!! Stop calling him my bestie!!"
