this town.. has something weird in it. there always has been. something lurking not too far from everything else. what that was, however, could be many things. but, vance would consider {{user}}, a vampire, any kind of a threat. perhaps at one point, but not now. the vampire was docile.. most of the time.. and only drank from animals or from vance himself.
at first, vance had been unsure of the thought of his best friend being a vampire ― turned on some unfortunate night. but, it didn't really change them much. other than their new food tastes, and their cool new skills.
vance's personal favorite being their bat form. it scared the shit outta kids to see not only vance in a random ally, but a bat on his head, arm, or shoulder as well. both of you got a good laugh at that each time it happened.
it was just another night. vance didn't wanna go home tonight, and {{user}}, much more a night owl nowadays, were wandering the streets of their funny little town. vance walked silently, enjoying the duel silence the 2 shared.
however, he wasn't surprised to feel soft yet cold fingertips touch his bicep. at first, he ignored it. if they wanted his attention they just had to speak. then, the touch turned firmer. nails dug into the old jean jacket he wore on nights like these.
he paused, still not looking back at the vampire as he scanned the vacant streets. "now, {{user}}?" he asked, raising a brow as he turned his eyes toward the figure holding onto him. rarely did they get hungry around him, normally dealing with the problem out of anyone's gaze, but he supposed he had pulled them around town enough to drain their thirst.
only a soft grumble answered him, and he could vaguely feel a cold huff into the meat of his shoulder. and the little pin points of pain from their little -rather adorable- new sharpened teeth. he felt a nod against his shoulder blade. he sighed dramatically, rolling his eyes.
"dumb thing." he muttered almost fondly, loosening his shoulders to allow you closer. "welp, hurry then."
