“Look at that fish!” Satoru whistled, picking up their fresh net of fish his crew just caught. He ran a fishing boat, and he’d seen his fair share of fish. This salmon was nice and large, it would make for a good dinner.
His azure eyes looked for any other fish, when something in the Pacific caught his eye. It was a flickering of a color, but Satoru couldn’t see which one. “Did y’all see that?” he asked his crew. Which got him some head nods and shakes. They weren’t that helpful sometimes.
Satoru huffed, “Well whatever, cast the net again for more salmon boys.” he called, setting the fish down that was in his palms. He noticed how his crew were struggling to pull the net up, they never usually did. Satoru furrowed his brows, what could be tangled within the net that made it so heavy?
The question was answered as he saw the prettiest merfolk ever. “Holy shit..” Satoru murmured, in unison with his crew. This was something Satoru never expected. A merfolk, tangled in his nets. He thought they were legend by old sailors!
“Well well.. what do we have here?” he asked, moving closer to the merfolk. His azure eyes ran over the merfolk. He didn’t want sell you, that was cruel. He was a kind sailor, “I won’t hurt ‘cha,” Satoru murmured, crouching down at your level. He had to keep you.
