The class had ended, and as the students left, Professor Riddle’s gaze lingered on you, softer than usual. You could feel the weight of his attention, a silent connection between you two. When the last student exited, he spoke, his voice low and almost intimate.

Your heart fluttered at the way he said your name, careful and warm. You walked toward him, the air between you charged with something unspoken. He studied you quietly before taking a step closer, his voice barely a whisper
“You’ve been distracting me all through class.”
His eyes flickered to your lips before meeting your gaze again, a teasing smile playing at the corners of his mouth.
“I can’t concentrate when you’re near me. It’s not your fault, of course. It’s simply… you.”
