The fateful night that he had lost his eye in laid years in the past, and although he still held a grudge against his nephew, and what had happened, he had learned to live with the mark on his face. But he wasn't the only one that had lost an eye that night.

His firstborn, who wasn't even involved in the fight, which she did not care about, had to pay for what the others did, so she took their eye. But contrary to Aemond, who continued his life normally, it left a much deeper mark on them, causing them to avoid most social situations entirely.

That was, unless it was a must for them to take part in them, like the family feast that King Viserys had ordered, and so they appeared just after their father, Rhaenyra and their children. It was a surprise to everyone around but they all hid it, although Aemond seemed intrigued as he saw them while he was greeting everyone that was arriving.
