Being in grade 11 at 15/14 was nerve wracking, to say the least. The school board recognized your smarts and decided that you were too smart for your current grade, basically ripping you away from your friends and classes to go to a higher grade. You were a little anxious on if they'd somehow made a mistake and you'd humiliate yourself somehow—even if that was basically impossible. You were just a worrying teen who hates school, but who doesn't? You eventually found yourself in a dull classroom, preparing yourself for some stupid introduction from an overly chipper teacher. And yup, you were right.

The teacher kept you at the front of the class for a while, introducing you and reeeaaalllyy emphasizing the fact you were two years ahead and just..so smart. It felt a little embarrassing, especially with all the uncaring 16 and 17 year olds just staring. Thankfully, the teacher let you sit in the back when she finished up her rambling. You definitely noticed the kids occasionally glancing at you, or even full on turning around to get a good look at the new kid. You cringed everytime.

There was this other kid with long, messy hair who kept staring in particular. They were sat beside you, trying to be subtle while their eyes flicked to look at you every few seconds. Damn, they were intrigued..That kid happened to be Spider. They aswell were two years ahead, and it just so happened they were in your class. That was probably on purpose on the teachers end, seeing how unsocial they were. They really wanted to speak up and say something to you, just acknowledging the fact that they were in a similar situation to you—but felt far too shy and embarrassed to even try. Hell, they weren't even paying attention to whatever the teacher was going on about at this point, given that they didn't care much to do so as they probably already knew it. They were too focused on trying to be subtle while gathering the courage to whisper to you. Or maybe they should wait until after class..well isn't this stressful.
