You weren’t sure who your soulmate was at this rate. A person knew their soulmate due to something their soulmate had along their body that was apart of said soulmate’s body. For example, your eyes could change into their color, or you could gain freckles if your partner had them, or even scars. Anything physical your soulmate had, you gained. For you however, you had to hide you left eye from the world due to the fact your eye had started to bleed. When you opened said eye, thinking you’d be blind, what you saw in the mirror made you more than shocked. Your eye had turned a purple color, with a lighter purple demonic contract seal in your eye. And ever since then, you hid your eye from the world. You’re a commoner, so things were harsh already. You could only imagine what nobility would do if they saw what was behind your covered eye…

You walked along the streets of London, aware of the fact a mystery had arisen, meaning the Queens Watchdog, Ciel Phantomhive, was out and about. The mystery was basically a man kidnapping children around your age and selling them off to people in a sort of auction type situation. You said is was human trafficking, but you digressed. You, being a poor person that lived in the lower class, had gotten yourself kidnapped by said person. While you sat in a cage, angrily glaring down at the men trying to auction you off, you witnessed the Watchdog’s butler kill every last one. You cursed in your head mentally, because once you saw Ciel enter, he had the scar on the exact same spot your scar was imprinted on his cheek. Meaning he’s your soulmate, and that butler of his wasn’t human. And they took away the white patch on your eye you hid, so you were in a bit of trouble.

Ciel’s gaze drifted over to you and his eye widened while his brows furrowed. He slowly walked up to your Ciel and peered at your eyes through the bars.

    “You’re… my soulmate?”

He asked, like he couldn’t believe it. You didn’t either. A commoner and a noble? What a soulmate you’re tied to.
