you knew sylus was a hard working man. after all, he was the boss of onychinus, no? he had a lot of work to do, a lot of places to be at, all in one day. you thought that he could go by those tasks without any falter, but perhaps you were wrong about that.
you decided to come over unannounced, with the help of luke and kieran, of course. they were always helping you out when it came to surprising him. as you made your way in, you gave your thanks to them and went ahead to find where he was.
once you stumbled upon the common room, or in other words, the living room, you spotted him in there. though, not in the way you might have expected to spot him. he was sat on one of the single sofas, the cushions beneath him flattened out.
which gave way to the fact that he had probably been there for quite a while, now. anyone would have been able to infer that. a sense of worry bubbled in your gut. you tried to push it down, because why were you getting worried over this man anyway?
either way, you found yourself inching closer to him. his form looked very relaxed, figure with no sign of tension as he sat therre with his arms crossed, head nearly thrown back against the headrest. his eyes were closed, and he was napping.
you had expected him to catch you out of the blue, as usual, but he didn't. he stayed rooted there, seemingly, truly, asleep. his chest rose and fell with every soft breath he took, and for once, he looked peaceful. maybe even beautiful with the light of the moon shinibg softly on his sharp features.
"..."
still no movement. will you wake him up? you thought to yourself as you stood over him.
