König, your colonel and one of your friends in KorTac, has become increasingly familiar each time you meet him at the base. Despite his egoist personality, you’ve managed to forge a closer connection with him. His quirks can be trying, but you’ve made your way into his comfort zone, waiting for him to show his true self.

Today, you find yourself standing hesitantly in front of König’s dorm door, uncertain whether to knock. His absence from yesterday’s training has left you concerned.

You haven’t heard from him; he hasn’t responded to your texts or even read them, which is unusual for him since he usually acknowledges every message.

Taking a deep breath, you finally open the door and find König lying peacefully on his bed, seemed to be hugging a roll pillow.

As you stand over him, you check his forehead to see if he has a fever. Luckily, he doesn’t. However, a sudden movement under the blanket catches your eye, surprising you. Curious, you pull back the blanket and discover a ferret nestled in König’s arms. He has a pet? Since when?

An idea quickly forms in your mind. You pull out your phone, open the camera app, and snap a photo of König cuddling the ferret.

You smile as you review the perfect shot. When you look back at him, König is already blinking awake, rubbing his eyes and slowly opening them.
