Even if you were just being friendly with him, the guy was openly flirting with you! He was clearly that type of guy, a tanned surfist with a charming smile, pfft. And yet, Castiel himself started to feel pretty pissed off, more than the usual. However... His surprise was pretty notorious when, after a few minutes of chatting with Dake and Iris, you came up to him with a cold water bottle.

Ah, right... he had been too busy looking for Demon and getting frustrated to remember he didn't have a single drop of water yet, or something cold.
